EMA leaders from the department of Emergency Medicine, PESIMSR, Kuppam in association with Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy successfully conducted a workshop on Pre hospital care.
Realizing the need for awareness in the Pre Hospital Care, Basic Life Support and First -Aid for various clinical emergencies in reducing morbidity and mortality, EMA leaders Dr Rajesh, Dr Prakash andthe Emergency Medicine Team from PES IMSRconducted the workshop with the theme ”EVERY SECOND COUNTS”
Dr. Raman Dang, Principal, Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy, Dr. Mahesh Prof & Head, Dept of Pharma sciences and organizing team members expressed that it was a great learning experience for staff, postgraduates and interns pursuing Pharm D course. They also reiterated the need for making Basic Life Support courses compulsory as part of their curriculum.
Emergency Medicine has evolved in Kuppam under the guidance of INDUSEM and stays true to the visionary objective of growth of medicine via education, research and health care. PESIMSR continues to promote quality healthcare and awareness to various sectors of the community
EMA has been closely working with young faculty members Dr. Rajesh and Dr. Prakash forging them to become academic Emergency Medicine leaders in the state.
