Then Came the Era of COVID. INDUSEM stood the Call of the Time!
With our experience in Information Technology and the tech back up we moved swiftly to reformat our education and communication formats.
Formative decisions were made to transform EMINDIA2020 and our International WACEM2020 to virtual formats.
INDUSEM is an academic leader hence we evolved a novel virtual format of a Saturday E-Summit on COVID19 which began in March 2020 and is conducted till date every Saturday at 6:30 PM India time.
INDUSEM-ACAIM-WACEM Joined hands to organize this Saturday Summit which has involved over 5000 delegates since March 2020.
The Academic Network produced landmark PubMed Indexed paperson COVID patient care leading to formative guidelines for Triage, Ventilator Management and Home Oxygen Monitoring for patients with COVID.

EMINDIA2020 and EPICON2020 went Virtual
INDUSEM accomplished the completion of its National Conferences on Emergency Medicine and Emergency Pediatrics virtually using a Weekend Sequential Sessions Format. Hundred of delegates registered for multiple session held from October 2020 to December 2020 on weekend. The recording were available to delegates 24/7 if they could not attend the session or wanted to revisit them.

It was a matter of great Pride that The World Health Organization Recognized INDUSEM as a best practice model credited with the development of Academic Emergency Medicine in India using US Partnership.
