At ISACON2021Ahmedabad our INDUSEM Leader Professor Dr. Sandeep Sahu won the Indian Society of Anesthesia (ISA) National Appreciation Award for extraordinary work in field of social engineering by training health providers and bystanders on emergency and trauma care.
Dr. Sahu has trained more than 6000 doctors, nurses and paramedics through various skills courses on first aid, emergency management and trauma prevention.
Professor Dr. Sandeep Sahu is an Academic Anesthetist at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) at Lucknow India.
In 2015 Professor Sahu received the Dr. YG Bojraj Award for the Best Review Article written in the Indian Journal of Anesthesia.
In 2017 Professor Sahu won the Jan Suraksha Paritoshik from INDUSEM for his work on Injury prevention.
“Academic Anesthetists have a key role in resuscitation and airway management. Many of them also serve as founding faculty at the newly developing emergency departments across medical schools in India. INDUSEM has been instrumental in galvanizing these leaders into transitioning as Career Academicians in Emergency Medicine.
