Professor Moied Gets Bhoj Raj Award

INDUSEM Research Leader Dr. Moied received the prestigious Dr Y. G. Bhoj Raj Award for his work titled “Mechanical ventilation in patients with chronic obstructive lung disease and bronchial asthma”, for the year 2016. His work was published in the Indian Journal of Anaesthesia. Dr Moied also launched the Central Journal of ISA (CJISA), as an Editor-in-Chief. The journal is published by the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists. The journal is bi-annual and the submission of manuscript will be entertained only from residents of the four central states of India, UP, MP, Uttaranchal and Chhattisgarh. The journal is both online and in print format.

Dr. S Moied Ahmed, Professor, Department of Anaesthesiology and Teacher In-Charge ICU at Aligrah Muslim University, was invited as a faculty to teach “Management of Difficult Airways” at ISACON2016. He was a Distinguished Faculty at the 64th Annual Conference of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists held at Ludhiana. During 2015 ISA Conference Dr. Moied won the ISA President’s Appreciation award.

Prof. Ahmed is an INDUSEM Leader and Researcher who has a track record of creating innovative training courses. The National Emergency Airway Training Program was the brain child of Prof. Ahmed. He was also the winner of the INDUSEM Academician and Researcher of the Year award in 2009.
