The Department of Emergency Medicine, PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PESIMSR) Kuppam, is one of the premier academic Emergency Medicine departments in the country.
The Department of Emergency Medicine PES IMSR Faculty taught an innovative skill school oncardiac arrest in pregnancyat the NATIONAL FETAL MEDICINE CONFERENCE held at People Tree Hospital Bengaluru.
Understanding the lack of awareness and knowledge about maternal cardiac arrest or cardiac arrest in pregnancy in primary and secondary healthcare setups, the Emergency Medicine team under the directorship of Medical Superintendent Prof Dr. L. Krishna and Emergency Medicine faculty Dr. Chandrika with EMA leaders Dr. Rajesh Kand Dr. Prakash Babu.S created this unique skill school.
Dr. Ananthlakshmi and Dr. Adhinarayan leading consultants and organizing team members expressed that it was a great learning experience for doctors, postgraduates and consultants in obstetrics and gynecology.
Emergency Medicine has bloomed in Kuppam under the guidance of INDUSEM and stays true to the visionary objective of growth of medicine via education, research and health care.
EMA has been closely working with young faculty members Dr. Rajesh and Dr. Prakash forging them to become academic Emergency Medicine leaders in the state.
