Under the Stewardship of Dr. S. Prakash Babu the 4th edition of EMAndhra2024 was hosted by the Department of Emergency Medicine at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati.
The State Level Academic Summit was held on the 14th and 15th of June, 2024.
EMAndhra24 brought together 200 participants from across India and featured esteemed faculty from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh.
The theme for this year’s conference, “Rapid Action, Contain the Contagion – Our Mission, Our Motto,” resonated deeply with the current global healthcare climate, emphasizing the crucial role of emergency medicine in managing and containing infectious diseases swiftly and effectively.
EM Andhra 2024 received widespread acclaim from delegates and faculty alike for its diverse array of topics and innovative workshops. The conference featured a comprehensive program that included keynote address, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops, covering a broad spectrum of emergency medicine practices.
The conference was met with overwhelming positive feedback from both delegates and faculty. Dr. S Prakash Babu, a Government Recognized Residency Trained. Post Graduate Degree Holding Licenced Emergency Medicine Specialist who served as the Organizing Secretary for EMAndhra24. Dr. Babu’s extensive experience and dedication were instrumental in the seamless execution of the event. Having previously served as the Organizing Secretary for two editions and the Scientific Committee Chairman for the third, his leadership ensured a conference of exceptional quality and relevance. Dr. Rohith Gupta, the Joint Secretary, ably supported him, contributing significantly to the event’s success.

Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) is an Academic Medical Institute recognized under State Legislature Act located at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. SVIMS was conceived on the lines of All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi, and was created by an act of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislature.
