It is with great pride that we announce that INDUSEM Patron Prof. DK Gupta has assumed charge as the Director of The Super Specialty Pediatric Hospital & Post Graduate Teaching Institute, Noida.
SSPHPGTI is an Autonomous Institute established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh envisioned to be tertiary level APEX Institute for Pediatric Diseases.
The appointment of Prof. DK Gupta heralds the arrival of the highest level of development and progress in terms of Academics in Pediatrics.
Prof. DKG has been the Professor and Head of AIIMS Pediatric Surgery with a Stint as Vice-Chancellor of the Prestigious King George Medical University. He has been the President of The World Federation of Associations of Pediatric Surgeons.
As India moves to develop Pediatric and Trauma Services, the Appointment of Prof. DK Gupta sets the pace for development of DM in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Dr. DK Gupta has launched the Emergency Surgical Peadtrics & Injuries Initiative (ESPI-INDIA) in 2016 bringing together Pediatric Orthopedics, Neurosurgery and Pediatric Surgery to care for children with surgical emergencies including trauma.
