On 5th October 2015 INDUSEM2015 concluded its week long Decennial Celebrations with a Star Studded Academic Symposium on “New Vistas in Emergency Medicine” at Pandit BD Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, Haryana.
Spear Headed by INDUSEM Leader and Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. OP Kalra “Rohtak Satellite” was inaugurated by Legislative Assembly Member Mr. Manish Kumar Grover.
The Symposium was attended by 250 delegates from Medical Colleges across the Green State of Haryana.
There was lectures delivered on Emergency Medicine Education, Research and Care involving topics focused on children and adults. Administrative Advances and Technology Innovations was an important part of the presentations.
Faculty Line included Dr. Nidhi Garg and Dr. Saumil Parikh from NYHQ, Dr. Fristenberg from Ohio, Drs. Rebecaa and Donald Jeanmonod from St. Lukes, Dr. Arquilla and Dr. Paladino from SUNY Downstate and Dr. Bhoi and Dr. Aggarwal from AIIMS, New Delhi.
The Inauguration ceremony was conducted in presence of the University Leadership and included the key Note Address by INDUSEM CEO Dr. Sagar Galwankar.
Dr. Sagar Galwankar emphasized the importance of developing Acute Care Services in the fast growing region of Haryana and also laid of various strategic options which could facilitate this growth.
The Symposium concluded with an Open House Discussion on Developing Critical Illness and Injury Sciences at Rohtak thus fulfilling the need for Emergency Health Services in the State.
