INDUSEM Leaders flooded the corridors of victory as they won awards and won competitions at the recently concluded American Academy of Emergency Medicine Scientific Assembly of 2025 held at MIAMI, FLORIDA, USA.

INDUSEM CEO Dr. Sagar Galwankar led the architectural implementation of the Dr. Kevin Rogers World Cup at FLAAEM Games held at AAEM25.

This was a huge feather is the cap of INDUSEM as the FLAAEM games were a complete lift-off of the INDUSEM GAMES launched in India in the year 2025. This is the first time in history of Academic Medicine that an American Professional Organization has honored a Gaming Model made in India and gave due credit to the Architect as well the Organizations namely INDUSEM ACEE and EMA.

Another Achievement was that the Winner of The Dr. Kevin Rogers World Cup was the Team from The Florida State University College of Medicine Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota Florida. This is the Department where INDUSEM CEO Dr. Sagar Galwankar serves as Professor and Research Director for Emergency Medicine.

The TEAM from The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi also participated in the Dr. Kevin Rogers World Cup and emerged as the Runner Up in the Simulation Competition Finals. They also won the Best TEAM SPIRIT and ATTITUDE Award at the Competition.

INDUSEM Leaders Made us proud by winning the Most Prestigious Awards by the ACADEMY namely The Dr. Kevin Rogers Program Director of the Year Award & The Professor Joe Lex Educator of the Year Award.

Professor Dr. Joe Lex Educator of the Year Award 

This award recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to AAEM through work on educational programs. Nominees must be AAEM members who have been out of their residency for more than 10 years. (Source AAEM)

INDUSEM Leader Professor Dr. Harman Gill leads the INDUSEM Critical Illness and Injury Initiative and is championing the Fellowship Track of Critical Illness and Injury for the Academic College of Emergency Experts was the proud recipient of the 2025 Professor Joe Lex Educator of the Year award.

About Professor Dr. Gill :

Dr. Gill is dual trained EM-CCM and has serve as the APD for the IM-CCM fellowship program the residency research director for the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center residency Program.  His academic interests are those at the transitional junction of EM & CCM and are focused but not limited to sepsis care, cardiac arrest care and procedural education. Currently he practices as an Academician in New York. Well Published, Well Recognized and Well-Trained Dr. Gill is a graduate of IVY league Schools and continues to embody the principles he learnt in his training.

The Dr. Kevin Rogers Program Director of the Year Award

This award honors an emergency medicine program director who has made exceptional contributions to both the field of emergency medicine and AAEM. In addition to their contributions within their program, Award winners have a significant impact on AAEM and the broader emergency medicine community. INDUSEM Leader Professor Dr. Manish Garg leads the International Development Initiatives for INDUSEM, The American College of Academic International Medicine and The World Academic Council of Emergency Medicine in the INDUSEM World Scape. He has won the INDUSEM Arogya Kiran Puraskar in 2017 and is the tall figure in the world of Residents Education in Emergency Medicine.

About Professor Dr. Garg:

Dr. Manish Garg is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician and the Residency Program Director for the NewYork-Presbyterian Emergency Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Garg’s academic interests are in medical education, emerging infectious disease, global health, procedures, leadership, EM practice, and resuscitation. He is a respected educator and researcher having published over 60 peer-reviewed publications and mentored hundreds of medical students and residents and has been honored with multiple golden apple, medical student, and resident teacher of the year awards along with awards from the Council of Residency Directors in Emergency Medicine, INDUSEM, ACAIM & AAEM.  Dr. Garg is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Detroit Receiving Hospital. His educational distinctions include Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha.
