INDUSEM and The British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (BAPIO) came together to Launch the Joint Training Initiative for Physicians at various NHS Hospitals across UK.
The Training initiative will encompass a serials of workshops, symposia and skill schools to be held on regular basis across the United Kingdom.
Two Emergency Ultrasound Workshops were held at Loughborough and Basildon NHS Hospitals under the auspices of BAPIO Training Academy and the International Council for Critical Emergency Sonography.
The Launch ceremony was held at a Gala Night hosted by BAPIO in Leicester which was attended by Policy makers and Leaders of the University of Leicester.
Dr. Sanjeev Bhoi who directed the Ultrasound Courses was joined by Dr. Deepak Agarwal and Dr. Tej Prakash from AIIMS. Dr. Bhoi presented BAPIO with a Commemorative Plaque from AIIMS and INDUSEM.
The INDUSEM Team recognized the efforts of Dr. Mehta President BAPIO, Dr. Vivek Chhabra and Dr. Joydeep Grover and Mr. Pandya for making sure that the Initiative was launched in time and with great precision.
Dr. Mehta, President BAPIO called this as a defining moment in Education History by INDUSEM and BAPIO where UK will now be an important part of the INDO-US Partnership.
A Royal Banquet was held in Basildon, UK to celebrate the Launch of the BAPIO TRAINING ACADEMY which hosted the two Inaugural Courses in partnership with the International Council of Critical Emergency Sonography and NHS Hospitals.
Speaking at the Launch Dr. Sagar Galwankar CEO of INDUSEM called the INDUSEM-BAPIO Joint Training Initiative as a Significant Step towardsfurther fortifying INDO-US-UK Relations. He recognized the important role NHS has played in providing Quality HealthCare to the citizens of UK. He ended by saying that INDUSEM-BAPIO are Better Together !

British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (BAPIO) BAPIO is the most influential organization of doctors of Indian Origin in UK.
