The Emergency Medicine Association (EMA) of the East Zone Region powered by INDUSEM joined hands with The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Guwahati to launch their flagship program “Pediatric Emergency Pearls Talk” a.k.a. PEP Talks which is a webinar based education series.
The Focus of these online webinars is educate the medical providers including nurses on issues related to initial and advance management of pediatric emergencies in community care as well as hospital based emergency care.
The inaugural webinar had over 100 registrations.
Guwahati PEP Talks will be delivered bi-monthly on Saturdays from 1300-1430 hours.
Guwahati PEP Talks is Spearheaded by EMA Joint Secretary for Pediatric Emergency Medicine in the Eastern Zone Dr. Nisha Toteja along with the complete leadership for the EMA in eastern India.

Dr. Sagar Galwankar, CEO of INDUSEM addressed the participants and highlighted the need for ongoing educational activities for trauma and emergency care in eastern India.
The first PEP Talk was delivered by Professor. Dr. Prerna Batra, Director and Head of Acute Pediatric Services at University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
