The Emergency Medicine Association Telangana conducted its State level Meeting EMTelangana24 at Kamineni Academy of Medical Sciences, LB Nagar, Hyderabad on 23,24 March, 2024.
The theme of the Conference was – Respiratory Emergencies – Unlocking breath to save lives.
The audience included residents and faculty in Emergency Medicine from Telangana & from across BHARAT.
Spearheaded by the powerful EMA Under-Secretary of EMA Telangana Dr. Raghavendra Goud, EMTelangana24 was inaugurated by Dr MRM Babu, Principal, Kamineni Academy of Medical Sciences followed by the Lamp lighting ceremony by Professor Dr Saisatyanarayana, Dr Radhika, and Dr Devijan.
The Organizing team included the vibrant faculty of EMD KAMS Dr. G Savitha and Dr. K Venkata Ramana.
Emergency Medicine Topics Such as Pulmonary Embolism, Upper Airway Challenges, Peads Respiratory Distress. ECMO and SHOCK as well as Respiratory Managment in Disasters, Hemoptysis, Difficult Airway Care, Pneumonia Spectrums, Drowning, & Lower airway Challenges were discussed.
Dr. Venkat Ramana, Dr. Ramya, Dr. Nitin Chawala, Dr. Rakesh, Dr Nayan Sriramula, Dr. Prakash Babu, Dr Susheel Kumar, Dr Prudhvi, Dr. Ravi Teja led these lectures and engaging discussions thereafter.
The Conference Extravaganza was completed by a SIM + Sono Skills Session on Pulmonary Ultrasound which was both interactive, and hands on.
