Dubhashi Doctors Wellness

INDUSEM Leader Professor Dubhashi from AIIMS Nagpur recently featured in print media both newspaper and magazines advocating for the development of wellness centers across medical schools in India.

Wellness has become an important part of learning in medicine. Wellness Research targets burnout and mental exhaustion which are factors which can impact patient safety.

Dr. Dubhashi is a INDUSEM award winner and the founding Head of Surgery at AIIMS, Nagpur. He is also the Dean for Wellness and that is a role he prides himself on.

Dr. Dubhashi over his career has undertaken many initiatives for Student Wellness wherein networking events, social interaction and a mix of exercise and meditation have been major successes. I commend him for his work and look forward to seeing more developments in this field. Medical Schools should have Wellness centers which are open to all health providers and students in training.
