INDUSEM Patron, Cardiologist, Philanthropist and pioneer of Social Engineering Models Dr. Kiran C Patel was awarded the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas Samman (Award) at the PBD Celebration in Varanasi India.

ACEE Star Researcher Dr. Siju Abraham From JMMCRI Emergency Medicine Thrissur, Kerala India was awarded the Young Investigator Award at the 39th International Congress of the European Association of Poisons Centers and Clinical Toxicologists (EAPCCT) held at the Stazione Marittima in Naples, Italy on Friday 24 May 2019.

EMA State Chapters

EMA continued to facilitate trauma care expertise to Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh at Dr. Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Foundation.

Resustciticon 2019 was a great success in Mangalore discussing state of the art advances in Resuscitation. Leaders at EMA worked closely with Leaders at Indiana Hospital, Mangalore to develop and participate in this well designed conference.

The Emergency Medicine Association Karnataka held its Inaugural State Level Conference. The Team has hosted the 1st World Academic Congress of Emergency Medicine in 2016 in Bengaluru.

Government Medical College Chandigarh spearheaded the establishment of the EMA~CPH Chapter (Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana).

The Uttarakhand chapter of EMA India was launched at the Foundation Meeting of the Chapter at AIIMS Rishikesh.

The EMA Chapter of Royal Rajasthan was inaugurated at AIIMS Jodhpur which is directed by the Honorable Director Professor. Sanjeev Misra. The Chapter held its first State Level Conference focused on developing Protocols for Trauma and Emergency Care.

The Emergency Medicine department of Amala Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Thrissur and the Amala College of Nursing in association with Academic College of Emergency Experts in India (ACEE), Emergency Medicine Association (EMA) India and the Indian Medical Association (IMA) conducted a three day national level Meeting on Emergency Medicine and Emergency Nursing.

The 2nd State Level Conference of EMA Kerala Chapter completed a Kingsize Home Run in November 2019. EMKerala2019 was held at Government Medical College Kozhikode under the leadership of Dr. Chandani R

INDUSEM National + Global Summits

EMINDIA 2019: Grand Academic extravaganza dazzled Delhi from 31st July 2019 to 4th August 2019 at The All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

The 5th World Academic Congress of Emergency Medicine was a Dazzling success in Dubai. Held from 20th October to 24th October 2019, WACEM2019DUBAI was attended by over 1400 participants with faculty from many countries across the World. 125 International and Regional faculty, 10 workshops and 14 tracks studded the success of WACEM2019DUBAI.

INDUSEM Super-Specialty Summits

The 2nd Annual Emergency Pediatrics and Injuries National Conference of India (EPICON2019) was held simultaneously with the 2nd State Level Conference of the EMA Maharashtra Chapter (MAHAEM2019).

The EMA Goa Chapter Organized The Inaugural EMCARD- The National Summit on Emergency Cardiology On 10th and 11th of May 2019. Emergency Cardiology is developing Sub Speciality in Emergency Medicine.

INDUSEM Exam Prep

2019 celebrated the 10 Years of the National Emergency Medicine Board Review of India Course, NEMBRIC 2019. It was organized from 16th to 20th February, 2019 at the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. Initially called the EMPACT Course it was renamed a few years ago after its collaboration with the National Board of Examination, India.

EXAMTHALON is an EM board exam simulation conducted every year at Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute (JMMC & RI), Thrissur.

INDUSEM World

The 2019 WACEM Mid-Year Leadership Summit was hosted by WACEM Leader from Turkey President Dr. Basar Cander of EPAT. The Summit was held on the sidelines of the 6th Intercontinental Emergency Medicine Congress IEMC2019 at Antalya Turkey.

27th May 2019 marked the dawn of new era for Emergency Medicine Globally. EMA India, the official Organization for Government of India Recognized, Residency Trained Degree Holding Real & Legitimate EM Specialists, collaborated with 24 EM organizations globally to celebrate WEM Day.

The Leadership of EMA India was bestowed the “Excellence in Emergency Medicine” award at TOPCOM2019Malaysia. TOPCOM 2019: The International Table Top Exercise and Communication in Disaster Medicine (TOPCOM VII) was held from 1st July to 6th July 2019 in Selayang, Malaysia.

The Academic College of Emergency Experts in India (ACEE) and Emergency Medicine Association (EMA) made a mark at the inaugural International WONCA Emergency Medicine conference – WEMSEM jointly conducted by the WONCA World Emergency Medicine special interest group (WONCA EM SIG) and The General Practitioner’s Emergency Medicine Association of Nepal (GPEMAN) at Kathmandu, Nepal.

The Academic Leaders from the World Academic Council of Emergency Medicine, promised the great nation of Sri Lanka during WACEM2017 that they would help their nation establish the World Collaborative Centre for Acute Care (WoCCAC) for the evolution of Acute Care Sciences in Sri Lanka.

Emergency Medicine Association (EMA) leaders Dr. Ajith Venugopalan along with Dr. Jobin Jose and Dr. Binoy Xavier represented India at The Colombo International Trauma Conference (CITC) at The National Hospital of Sri Lanka.

An innovative interdisciplinary simulation workshop on the inborn errors of metabolism was conducted by The Department of Emergency Medicine and Department of Pediatrics, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, MAHE at Simulation lab.
